11/12/2010 Writing

Today, each student recieved a sheet with about 20 carrier values wirtten on. We used scissors to cut them and paste/tape them on a separate sheet of colored paper. We listed them according to our values toward them. As we made  this arrangement, we thought about our values and our lifestyle. I was surprised that "earning money" was at the lower bottom part of my list. Most people look for a high paying job. But as a Chiristian, money was worth less than the virtues, time, and natural characteristics that God gave me.
 For example, the most important career I chose was "thinking good about myself" because I though I first should be satisfied with what God gave me. I  thought about how I should live my life; chasing the material world, or chasing God.

1. Helping others
I like to help others and see them happy.

2. Direct others
I think I am good at leading and directing others to do something.

3. Perform, act
Many people says I am really talented in acting and I should be an actor.

4. Tri-lingual
I can speak English and Korean fluently, and I can speak Chinese almost fluently.

5. Manage money
I try to get profit. I got profit by currency and investing on stock.

6. Music appriciation/ instruments
I like to listen and play music. I practice piano

How do you plan on choosing a career?
First, I want a career that God wants me to have.
Second, I want to have a carrer that I can enjoy and that I can help others through it.
Third, I want to have a free and a high paying job.

Does your gender make a difference?
Yes. I think I would have to support my family so I need a high paying job.
I also can have more world wide job because I have a stronger body.



Who will help you choose a career?
Mostly, God and my parents. I'm sure that God would somehow lead me through his will.
My teachers can help too by finding my talents and developing my interests.


Can the Bible offer any help?
Yes. I can know what God wants me to do by knowing his characteristics.
I can also develop spiritually myself to have a better career.
I can find useful scriptures to find something I  am passionate about.

Dear judge, I stand before you today to prove my innocence. It is true that I blew up two older pigs' houses, and I am sorry for those unfortunate events. I know that 3 little pigs are upset and are having many misunderstandings, but those are nothing compared to mine.
The truth is that I broke pig's houses unintentionally. I heard that three little pigs moved near my house, so I visited them to have some talk to be good neighbors. When I finally met them, they ran away from me. This was very unexpected to me. I tried to catch them up and say that I just wanted to talk, but they banged tha door right at me and hid inside their houses.
Have you ever smelled htose awful dusts and formaldehyde from the new doors? They automatically make animals sneeze.
I sneezed, and do you know what happened next? Oldest pig's house just blew away! I was so shocked to see this and tried to say sorry but the pig just ran away to his brother's house again. I stood beside the second pig's house and that awful sneeze came again.
After all that mistakes, I went to the third pig's house and said sorry. Again, I sneezed, and I was really afraid to think if I might blow their house again. But the third pig's house didn't move and I was relieved to see that.
Finally, I decided to visit them through chimney. When I went down through the cimney, the pigs were boiling a pot underneath it! Later, I realized that they did that intentionallly to burn me. I got-third degree burn all over my body and now, I have no hope. I can't move, can't go to work, can't take a bath, can't play sports, and am living a life full of embarassment and dispair.
I think the three pigs should be the ones who are accused. I did not do any harm to htem execpet for breakeing two not well-made houses. But the three pigs gave me an everlasting damage to my body and my life.
